Today I came home and found that my bathroom ceiling had caved in again for the fourth time in 10 months. What are the chances of that. Quite ugly in my bathroom right now. The guy who runs this place is what you call a SLUMLORD. He doesn't fix anything, he just tries to patch it up to save money. I can't wait to get out of this place.

ah, honey, i'm so sorry you have to live like that. soon, very soon, you'll be living in the luxury of marriage! =) hehehehhe which means no woman would ever stand for that and therefore you get a nice place! =)

Wow, I feel like I'm staring at my shower in Haiti again (but it's a thousand times worse, of course).
speaking of expensive, but crappy apartments in new york... i was going to tell you my friend Faith is moving there in August to teach English as a second language in an elementary school, and she's got some connection w/ someone from your church! She really wants to get involved, and she would be an awesome person to have on the team in some way or another. just thought i'd let you know!
