I saw Ben Kweller and Death Cab for Cutie last night at Irving Plaza. Ben Kweller's new material was disappointing but DCFC put on a great show as usual. Ben Gibbard is such a good front man. Got to meet some more of Kurt Power's friends last night. This guy knows a ton of people. We talked about our idea for a church in the East Village. I think it woudl be called East Village Junction - Where Faith Meets Culture. I would love to meet in this lounge we were at over in Alphabet City the other night. I think people who live over there woudl feel comfortable coming to church if it is in a place they know well and are comfortable. I would love to get started on this in 2005. We'll see what The Orchard Group thinks. This gets me excited.
